This landmark site is located in a unique location on Camps Bay beachfront with views of the Twelve Apostles, which in itself is becoming one the most sought after leisure areas in Southern Africa.The building was owned by a well known Capetownian, Mr Philip Isaacs, who was recognized in the Guinness Book of records as the world’s oldest practicing pharmacist. The building was acquired in 1946 for 3,500 pounds, Mr Isaacs operated a pharmacy from the premises and lived above in the apartment until 2003 where upon he retired at age 98 and passed away shortly thereafter at the age of 99.The property was sold on auction in November 2005 and attracted great public interest.
The ground floor will comprise of Vida E Caffe and Kauai Juice and first floor will be occupied by Col’Cacchio Pizzeria. Retail Architects International have designed a building which blends in with the architectual heritage of the area. This property is situated on Victoria Road directly opposite the popular Camps Bay beachfront and close to the commercial centre of Camps Bay, South Africa. |
